But a good quality faucet can make common kitchen tasks easier with functions like sprayers and pull-down nozzles. Our team reviewed the top faucets on the market to help you find the best for your needs.
Based on our years of experience, we developed the following testing criteria for kitchen sink faucets.
Installation: While many kitchen sink faucets can be installed by homeowners with average skill, ability, and tools, some might require professional installation.
Appearance: We evaluated whether the faucet looked pleasing, especially for faucets that are multifunctional.
Effectiveness: Do the faucet and all of its features work as promised? We tried out all of the special features and functions.
Patented leak seal technology and magnetic sprayer docking make this faucet great for multiple functional uses. The SpotShield finish and Touch-Clean spray holes keep the faucet clean.
Most notable upside: We liked that the Delta worked with 1- and 3-hole sink mountings. Some testers liked that the faucet stayed in spray or stream mode until switched back and others emphatically did not. Most said it held up well to typical home kitchen usage and provided good value.
Biggest downsides: We found that the Delta did sometimes leak by the hose, as it was lesser quality than we would have liked, but it can be replaced so it wasn’t a major concern.
This stainless faucet can be swiveled a full 360 degrees in addition to pulling down the sprayer for 20” of an additional hose. The rubber holes in the nozzle are designed to release hard water stains.
Most notable upside: We loved how easy it was to install the Kingo Home and the high-quality and stylish design really stand out. The length of the sprayer hose is practical for filling things like pots and watering cans on the kitchen counter. The switch from spray to stream is one-handed and easy to use.
Biggest downsides: We did find some leaking after a few months of extended use. We were also a little disappointed by the quality of some materials used.
The 3-function sprayer can be pulled out as needed, with a 1-handed switch between spray, pause, and stream. The faucet can be 1- or 3-hole mounted with easy DIY installation.
Most notable upside: We appreciated the quality - including the water pressure - and felt the WEWE would withstand daily home use. The angle of the faucet over the sink doesn’t interfere with getting big pots and pans into the basin.
Biggest downsides: We did find some minor leakage and in some cases, the faucet didn’t seat properly in the base when the weight isn’t adjusted accurately during installation.
