This carpet cleaner combines Heatforce action and a quick cleaning mode which cut drying time in half. The deep clean feature also is a master at removing even the most stubborn dirt and stains.
Most notable upside: We were very impressed by how the Hoover Power Scrub was so effective at removing deep stains. One of the best features was the rising mode that really stood out to us against some of the other models tested. We also liked the Heatforce feature, which blows hot air onto the carpet for some of the fastest carpet drying we have seen to date.
Biggest downsides: Our few concerns were that the motor sometimes seemed to run a bit hot which cause hot air to be directed out the side. Also, the water reservoir began leaking when used excessively.
This model can be set to different cycles for efficient, hands-free operation. It gets rid of stains from most surfaces, and even reaches deep down into thick carpets for thorough cleaning.
Most notable upside: We were very impressed by the SpotBot’s ability to clean even severely stained carpets. We tried it out on a rug that was saturated with dirt and stains and to our amazement, the SpotBot restored it to like-new condition with little effort. Definitely some superior power behind this Deep Reach Technology.
Biggest downsides: We were less impressed with the tank that holds the cleaning solution. While it could be a bit more stable, we managed to avoid spills by screwing the cap on tightly before tipping the tank device.
This powerful cleaner makes a dash to the finish line handling wide and tight corners like a champ. The PowerSpin feature makes cleanup efficient with a compact design for convenient storage.
Most notable upside: We found the Hoover PowerDash to be an excellent addition to our set of cleaning devices as it proved to be more efficient for handling larger than some other models tested. The HeatForce drying technology works well with the PowerSpin feature making the PowerDash an all-around more versatile carpet cleaner.
Biggest downsides: The only issue we had was with the solution bottle because it did tend to leak on us. However, that was a quick fix we just had to make sure to put the cap on tightly before use.
