In our search for your new spray mop, we had to think about what you are looking for in a spray mop. So we compiled a short list of categories as a guidee.
Weight and Construction – This includes not only how heavy the mop is, but also how comfortable it is to hold and push around.
Spray Function – Here is where we checked on the reach of the spray as well as if the bottle itself was easy to replace and stayed out of the way while mopping.
Pad Durability – How often the mop pad needs to be replaced. Also the pad scrubbing capabilities or if it is reusable.
This spiffy spray mop design won’t scratch your floors and is fun to use. While the hypoallergenic pads and 22oz solution bottles can be reused to help lower upkeep costs.
Most notable upside: The first thing we noticed about the Reveal was that it is larger and covers more ground without becoming soaked through. The spray function is virtually silent and reaches an astounding distance. Our favorite feature, however, was the refillable solution, which can hold any type of cleaner you put into it.
Biggest downsides: The few issues we found were that the spray trigger can sometimes become stuck after extended use, and in some cases, the solution bottles sprung a leak. Otherwise, we love the Reveal to pieces.
This spray mop is an instant classic and so fun to use. The super lock pad traps in moisture and dirt that is perfect for finished flooring, laminate, and tile.
Most notable upside: Right out of the box you can snap the WetJet together and start mopping. There are many different solutions to choose from so it is easy to find the right match for any type of flooring. The spray jet was one of the most powerful overall and didn’t stick even when holding down the button for an extended period.
Biggest downsides: The WetJet can’t be used on unfinished flooring, which can be a disappointment to some. The pads of the mop could be more absorbent, but are sufficient for most jobs.
Meet your new favorite spray mop. An easy to flip microfiber head makes cleaning away messes faster than ever. While the one-touch bottle release means changing the solution is super easy.
Most notable upside: The cleaning pads of the ProMist are amazingly durable and the microfiber holds up well to scrubbing and holding liquid. The mop can be used wet or dry so it doubles as a duster. The ProMist solution bottles are simple to take out and refill with no sign of leakage thanks to a protective “O” ring.
Biggest downsides: What we didn’t like is that the solution bottles can pop off a bit too easily sometimes and the mop head tended to fall off with extended use.
