To be completely transparent, though, it’s important to note that the faucet we used is a standard one with no attachments or accessories which might be what made the installation easy-peasy. Because this water filter’s body is made of 304 food grade stainless steel, it can last you a really long time. It’s crack-proof and leak-proof as well so you don’t have to worry about having to replace it every now and then. One of the things that we loved the most about this particular unit is that it has a switch that lets you go back and forth between regular tap water and filtered water almost instantly. This means that you won’t have to waste your precious filtered water for non-food related things like simply washing your hands. This also means that you can prolong the life of your filter, thus saving you a bit of cash without compromising the quality of your water.
