If you do this outside when the sun is shining, then your cleaner will already dry up right even before wiping it off or rinsing it. Washing it on a cloudy day will help achieve a bright or dazzling shine, because the sun will dry out the window cleaner fast. This will cause streaks to appear on your windows.

Sweep Off The Dirt

Before cleaning or wiping your windows, sweep off dirt and dust off it first. You can use a brush, or a vacuum to do this. Failing to do this will leave you with a muddy window, because the dirt will end up mixing up with your window cleaner.

You can also use hot water for washing off your windows. It will help clean it off easier especially if your windows are grimy. You can also use a soft brush to get rid of the grime.

Choose A Good Cleaner

What do you need to make your windows look great? You need a good window cleaner. Make sure you invest in a good quality window cleaner so that you won’t have to deal with any problems.  Skimping on a cheap or unreliable one will only have you ending up with windows that have streaks. You can put the cleaner in a spray bottle and spray it generously on your windows.

Use a Squeegee

Scrubbing hard isn’t much of a good idea, and it is advisable to use a squeegee instead. You can use this with water and your window cleaner to make it easier for you to clean your windows. If you are wiping your windows, make sure you use a different one for the inside of your home and the outside of it. This is so that you won’t be carrying any pollutants from the outside into your home. If you don’t have a squeegee, you can use a cleaner and wipe it dry with a microfiber cloth instead.
